Twenty years in the making…the resilient and frankly fabulous ‘Flamenco’ is part of the Highlander Series - unsurprisingly bred in Scotland. Slightly smaller than other delphiniums; they’re well suited to pots and containers. The soft pink double blooms have an extra layer of petals, and last longer on the stem, making this a superb garden performer! If any more reasons to pop this in your shopping basket/wheelbarrow were needed - it’s a great cut flower too! - Garden care: Stake with bamboo canes in mid-spring. During the growing season apply a balanced liquid fertiliser every 2-3 weeks and wearing gloves prune the faded flower-stems to a flowering side-shoot. At the end of autumn cut back and compost the spent blooms.
- Humans/Pets: Harmful if eaten
