This perennial dies back to below ground level each year in autumn, then fresh new growth appears again in spring.

Masses of soft apricot flowers in bloom summer long and delicate soft green fern-like foliage make this a highly desirable, compact herbaceous perennial. Superb in the mixed border, Mango Punch looks great teamed with ornamental grasses, and bees and butterflies love it too.
Garden care:
Pot up into containers with a good quality general-purpose compost, or into ground enriched with a backfill of compost or well-rotted manure, at the same depth it was growing previously. Spread a thick (2-3") mulch of leaf or garden compost around your newly planted perennial to protect the roots from frost, help to retain moisture around its roots and deter weeds from germinating. Deadhead regularly to prolong flowering and water well during hot, dry spells. Cut the faded flower-stems back down to ground level in autumn and compost.
