- Garden care: Pruning is not usually necessary, however any shoots that ruin the symmetry of the plant can be removed in autumn. Apply a generous layer of mulch around the base of the plant (avoiding the immediate crown) in late winter.
This captivating coniferous tree boasts an evergreen nature and pendulous form, with a serpentine leader that supports gracefully weeping branches. Its dense limbs are adorned with clusters of short, steel-blue needles, contributing to the tree's picturesque appearance. The 'Blue Atlas Cedar' can be staked or trained to take on any desired shape, ranging from narrow and upright if staked, to cascading in various directions.
