Impressive late spring and early summer flowers, with glowing white standards (occasionally with just a hint of a silvery blue flush), rising above the broader, yellow-daubed falls. They're sought after by florists because they are long-lasting in the vase, and their long, straight stems give them an elegant appeal. - Garden care: Plant 10cm deep and 10cm apart in naturalistic drifts in September or October in a well-drained, sunny site.
- Humans/Pets: Harmful if eaten
