The lid and base are both watertight, so can be used for growing directly as well as functioning as trays for the grow pots. The proportions lend themselves brilliantly to sitting on a windowsill indoors. Handy for growing heat-loving seeds like chillis, peppers, aubergines, etc.
At the end of the season, the grow pots can be neatly packed away in the box for safe keeping. You can also use the box separately as sturdy storage for other bits and bobs like your seed packets, labels, small tools, etc. A lovely practical set with great green credentials, and ideal for gifting.
Please note: the terracotta pots are naturally porous and drain well, so are supplied without drainage holes.
