Crocus green stake bird feeding dome
A versatile staked version of our hanging bird feeding dome, suitable for use all around the garden. Ideal for the lawn, border or pushed into a big sturdy pot, raising it well out of reach of cats and other predators.
It can be used alone, or as a main feeder from which to hang our smaller satellite feeders, creating a multi-species feeding station (as shown). A perfect way to avoid dinnertime squabbles!
To make sure our little feathered friends get their share, we’ve given it restricted access to stop larger birds muscling out smaller species. The domed roof and ring of Ø3mm drainage holes in the tray help prevent waterlogging in wet weather.
All feeders in this range come in a palette of neutral tones to blend in with the garden. Choose from brushed copper, brass, natural aluminium, and our signature Crocus green powder-coated aluminium.
The metals have been left in their natural finish to let them age and develop rich patinas. If you prefer them as new, a tough scouring pad will buff them back to their former glory.
Please note: this listing is for the large green dome feeder alone. Drive the stake into firm soil or grass by pushing your foot down on the dog’s leg spike; do not push down on top of the stake. If the ground is dry and hard, water it well to soften first.
