    • Usher in the promise of late spring with our award-winning collection of mixed-colour tulip bulbs. Bursting with vibrant hues and captivating beauty, this carefully selected trio will highlight your garden, or series of pots, in a symphony of colour. From the classic apple green of 'Evergreen', to the star-shaped curves of the lily flowered 'Green Star', and the elegance of the rouge splashed white 'Flaming Springgreen', this calming, complementary assortment promises a stunning display during May.

In each collection you will receive the following:

      • 5 × Tulipa 'Flaming Springgreen': This viridiflora introduction is closely related to the popular Spring Green. It has similar creamy white petals flushed with apple green, but they are also infused with warm flashes of red, which is similar to the old fashioned Rembrandt types. It is a cracking combination. The flowers appear late in the season and are quite long lived, both in the garden as well as in a vase. Grows to 45cm.

      • 5 × Tulipa 'Evergreen': Chartreuse green is a great colour for the garden, as it offers a wonderful contrast to the stronger purples, reds and plums, which can potentially get a bit heavy without this fresh accent. It also acts as a perfect foil for the cooling whites, so with that in mind we think 'Evergreen' will really help to add impact to the bedding scheme in late spring and early summer. Grows to 60cm.

      • 10 × Tulipa 'Greenstar': The pointed white petals of this liliflora tulip have a broad green stripe along their length, which creates a distinctive look. As the flowers age, the petals open to form attractive, star-like shapes. The flowers are long-lasting and perfect for adding to cut arrangements. Plant them in conjunction with more traditionally shaped white tulips to create interest in their contrasting form. Grows to 50cm.

    • Garden care: From August to November plant the bulbs 10-15cm deep and 10-15cm apart in a sunny spot with fertile, well-drained soil. While actively growing, keep them moderately well watered and remove the flowers after they have faded. At that stage a balanced liquid fertiliser can be applied each week for 4 weeks before they die down.
      • Humans: Harmful if eaten; skin allergen; Pets: Ornamental bulbs - not to be eaten
