Tough, easy to grow and with large, glowing white flowers throughout the winter months, this new hellebore is perfect for adding colour to the garden when little else is in bloom. It does well in pots, so will make a great addition to the patio, but it's also invaluable for lighting up areas of dappled shade in the borders.

This perennial is semi-evergreen so it can lose some of its leaves in winter. In colder regions or more exposed gardens, it may lose them all, but then fresh new growth appears again in spring.
