Beautiful salmon and blush apricot- pink tones peppered by burgundy blooms typify this gorgeous ‘coppery’ tinted tulip collection, featuring three remarkable colourful and richly burnished varieties each with a contrasting form or petal edge. A combination of colour that will have your borders and floral displays live long in the memory.

In each collection you will receive the following:

  • 10 × Tulipa 'Salmon Prince': Producing its salmon pink flowers quite early in the season, this looks sublime when underplanted with blue flowering bulbs such as scilla or muscari. Its subtle colouring will tie in with rich burgundy, purple or golden yellow. Suitable for pots or borders, the flowers can also be cut for the vase. Grows to 35cm tall.

  • 5 × Tulipa 'La Belle Epoque': Large, many-petalled flowers appear in late spring or early summer. Their unique colouring (pinkish-apricot becoming paler towards the outer edges of the petals), blends well with deeper pinks and shades of purple. Often called peony-flowered tulips, these beautiful blooms also make great cut flowers. Grows to 45cm tall.

  • 10 × Tulipa 'Havran': Deep blackcurrant coloured blooms with up to 3 flowers per stem appear in April. This has a similar colouring to the very popular Queen of Night tulip, but the flowers appear earlier on this variety. Therefore it is a great combination if you are looking to have an extended period of rich, deep colour in spring. Grows to 45cm tall.

  • Garden care: From August to November plant the bulbs 10-15cm deep and 10-15cm apart in a sunny spot with fertile, well-drained soil. While actively growing, keep them moderately well watered and remove the flowers after they have faded. At that stage a balanced liquid fertiliser can be applied each week for 4 weeks before they die down.
    • Humans: Harmful if eaten; skin allergen; Pets: Ornamental bulbs - not to be eaten
