Get a ‘Handel’ on late spring by indulging in the exquisite beauty of our award-winning ‘Baroque Tulip Collection’. This assortment features maroon-purple, red and yellow streaked, and double-flowering dark maroon varieties perfect for a stunning and complementary display of rich and vibrant colours that will transform your garden borders or patio pots.

In each collection you will receive the following:

    • 7 × Tulipa 'Black Hero': A stunning double-flowered tulip with deep maroon-black blooms with a satin sheen. This has been bred from the highly acclaimed tulip 'Queen of Night' and has the same distinctive midnight-black flowers, but with many more petals. Plant it somewhere prominent so you can really enjoy the flowers when they appear in May. Grows to 60cm tall.

    • 10 × Tulipa 'Ronaldo': Rich, deep maroon-purple with lovely coloured veining makes this a spectacular tulip for spring bedding displays. The petals have a rounded shape with pointed tips and have a smoky sheen and silky texture. Grows to 40cm tall.

    • 10 × Tulipa 'Gavota': The colouring of this tulip is really unusual - with a chocolate-red streak running down the length of each pointed petal, surrounded by a chunky yellow border. That makes them easy to mix - and very useful for tying together yellows and solid reds. Grows to 50cm tall.

  • Garden care: From August to November plant the bulbs 10-15cm deep and 10-15cm apart in a sunny spot with fertile, well-drained soil. While actively growing, keep them moderately well watered and remove the flowers after they have faded. At that stage a balanced liquid fertiliser can be applied each week for 4 weeks before they die down.
    • Humans: Harmful if eaten; skin allergen; Pets: Ornamental bulbs - not to be eaten
