A perfect collection of pale and pastel, tonal whites, lemons and pale azure in a classic springtime colour combination. Beautiful en-masse, and easy to naturalise, this assortment is complemented by the sweetly scented Narcissus 'Sailboat'.
In each collection you will receive the following:
- 10 × Tulipa 'Turkestanica': A beautiful species tulip, that can be left in the ground for several years, where it will gradually form a naturalised swathe of early spring colour in borders or meadows. The flowers themselves are mainly white, but usually with a subtle pink or greenish-yellow flush - and they tend to be longer-lasting than many of the tulips commonly used as seasonal bedding. As they open, they resemble yellow-eyed stars that seem to hover amongst the grey-green leaves. A stunner! Grows to 30cm.
- 20 × Scilla mischtschenkoana : In late winter or early spring, star-shaped, pale blue flowers, which have a darker stripe along the length of their petals, appear with the narrow basal foliage. Grows to 15cm.
- 10 × Narcissus 'Sailboat': Each stem can carry up to three sweetly scented flowers, so when planted en masse, these jonquils not only look good, but smell great too. They have creamy white, windswept petals and a cup, which fades from butter to cream as it matures. Plant plenty so you have some for cutting too. Grows to 30cm.
