The plants in this collection will die right back in autumn, then fresh new growth will appear again in spring.

Simple combintions are often extremely effective - like this yellow and blue one, which will give several weeks of colour from midsummer, well into autumn.



In this collection you will receive three of each of the following plants. They are all supplied in 9cm nursery pots:


• Achillea 'Credo': Flat, plate-like heads of yellow flowers, which fade to cream as they mature, are held high on tall stems above the fern-like foliage. This achillea will become drought-tolerant as it matures, and the flowers last well in cut arrangements. Grows to 1.2m.
  
  
• Perovskia 'Blue Spire': With its aromatic leaves and upright spikes of violet-blue flowers, Russian sage makes a wonderful companion to all kinds of late-summer ornamental grasses and perennials. This deciduous sub-shrub makes a real impact planted en masse alongside a path. Grows to 1.2m.



• Planting tips:
  Incorporate lots of well-rotted leaf mould or garden compost when planting. Protect young plants from slug-damage using environmentally friendly slug pellets or beer traps and keep them well watered until they are well established.
