  This award-winning jasmine will add colour and perfume to the summer garden. These form in clusters and when they open from the pointed, raspberry-pink buds, they have a powerful perfume, which on a still day (or evening), will fill the surrounding air. • Garden care: Plant Jasminum in a warm, sunny and sheltered location which helps to bring out the sweet fragrance of the flowers. If the soil is well-drained, it will cope with partial shade and colder positions, though it may suffer from frost damage in colder winters. When planting, add some soil conditioner (well-rotted compost) to the planting hole and some mycorrhizal fungi to aid root establishment.
