Bearing frothy clouds of soft pink, double flowers from mid to late summer, Gypsophila paniculata 'Flamingo' is a delicate-looking beauty with a light and airy structure.

A much-loved cut flower; in the garden it’s perfectly placed towards the back of a sunny border, where it offers height and elegance without dominate the space.

How to care for Gypsophila paniculata Flamingo:

Plant in a sunny, sheltered spot protected from cold, drying winds, and provide support with twiggy pea sticks or brushwood before flowering. Water moderately, keeping the soil just moist during dry spells, and feed sparingly with a keeping the soil just moist during dry spells, and feed sparingly with a general-purpose or low-nitrogen fertiliser in spring.

After blooms fade, cut the plant back to ground level. Once established, lift and divide large clumps in autumn to maintain vigour.
