A charming collection bursting with deep plum, purple, and fresh green hues outlined by elegant silhouettes making this a flower arranging dream where a splash of late spring colour is required. A dazzling collection for those seeking a combination of perfectly matched blooms in a cut-flower or spring border display.
In each collection you will receive the following:
- 10 × Tulipa 'Purple Lady' (PBR): The sumptuous colouring of this striking tulip is a subtle blend of deep purple with pink and blue overtones, while the petals have a satin-like lustre. It's a truly gorgeous thing - particularly when planted en-masse, although it will add body to a planting scheme with softer pinks and violets. Alternatively, use it to contrast with silvers or chartreuse green - wow! Grows to 40cm.
- 10 × Tulipa 'Paul Scherer': Tulip breeders have been trying for years to create a variety that produces a near-black flower on a tall stem - and here it is! The blooms are large, oval, almost egg-shaped, and sit on top of a sturdy stem in late spring. Plant in bold drifts for big impact, or tone it down with silvers and pinks. This variety has been awarded the prestigious Award of Garden Merit by the Royal Horticultural Society. Grows to 50cm.
- 5 × Tulipa 'Evergreen': Chartreuse green is a great colour for the garden, as it offers a wonderful contrast to the stronger purples, reds and plums, which can potentially get a bit heavy without this fresh accent. It also acts as a perfect foil for the cooling whites, so with that in mind we think 'Evergreen' will really help to add impact to the bedding scheme in late spring and early summer. Grows to 60cm.
- 10 × Tulipa 'Ronaldo': Rich, deep maroon-purple with lovely coloured veining makes this a spectacular tulip for spring bedding displays. The petals have a rounded shape with pointed tips and have a smoky sheen and silky texture. Grows to 40cm.
