  • Discover a classic and curated combination of contrasting tulips in hues of deep cassis, wine-red edged orange, and vibrant tangerine. A real blast of colour to liven up May's borders or cut-flower vases and herald the warmer days to come.

In each collection you will receive the following:

  • 10 × Tulipa 'Orange Cassini': Classically formed flowers are made up of vibrant orange petals, each with a paler orange flush. Topping tall stems, which stand up well to poor weather conditions, they look spectacular when teamed with strong purples and plum - or for a more tonal colourway, pair with golden yellows or burgundy-reds. Grows to 40cm tall.

  • 10 × Tulipa 'Havran': Deep blackcurrant coloured blooms with up to 3 flowers per stem appear in April. This has a similar colouring to the very popular Queen of Night tulip, but the flowers appear earlier on this variety. Therefore it is a great combination if you are looking to have an extended period of rich, deep colour in spring. Grows to 45cm tall.

  • 5 × Tulipa 'Slawa': The petals on this stunning triumph tulip are a deep wine red but each has a broad orange edge which turns a pinkish apricot as the slender flowers mature. Topping sturdy stems, they make an elegant and eye-catching addition to the seasonal border display. Grows to 50cm tall.

  • Garden care: From August to November plant the bulbs 10-15cm deep and 10-15cm apart in a sunny spot with fertile, well-drained soil. While actively growing, keep them moderately well watered and remove the flowers after they have faded. At that stage a balanced liquid fertiliser can be applied each week for 4 weeks before they die down.
  • Humans: Harmful if eaten; skin allergen; Pets: Ornamental bulbs - not to be eaten
